Advocacy School

Advocacy School is a social enterprise that supports the policy-advocacy (and “lobbying”) activities of individuals, movements and organizations who wish to influence decisions of governments and other public authorities.

It provides in-person and virtual training, capacity-building and coaching of both individuals and the organizations for which they work.

Advocacy School is also the name of a related, newly launched, newsletter on the online writer’s platform, Substack focusing on a range of topics related to the art, science, craft, ethics and practice of legitimate influence and persuasion.)

Since its launch in 2011 Advocacy School, the social enterprise, has served a broad spectrum of clients across Canada, in the United States, Europe and in the English-speaking Caribbean.

Advocacy School has served several dozen professional associations, NGOs, charities, First Nations organizations, government departments and agencies as well as companies, foundations and academic institutions.

Advocacy School is directed and managed by Sean Moore, one of Canada’s most experienced consultants, teachers and writers in public-policy and advocacy.
