Learning to work in and with the future
For many organizations, the capacity for successful advocacy is very much a function of the collective understanding of the organization’s trajectory – i.e. where it came from, where it is right now, where the status quo is inexorably pulling the organization, and where the organization needs to go to avoid the pitfalls of the status quo and improve its performance.
Learning to work in and with the future is a course that will help participants learn how to break the grip of the status quo by scanning their organization’s environment to anticipate emerging challenges and opportunities, and how to “stand in the future” and “tell the future of the organization back to the present”, all as ways of achieving a better understanding of the choices facing their organization at any time.
