Planning and implementing strategic communications cost-effectively and successfully for government organizations

Planning and implementing strategic communications cost-effectively and successfully for government organizations is a combined training webinar and in-person workshop on planning and executing strategic communications to achieve government communications goals and objectives cost-effectively in a highly competitive marketplace and in a transformative digital world .
It’s a world with loads of noise and diversions for audiences, where multi-specialty news and informational channels, the Internet, blogs and interactive social media are challenging the very survival of conventional news media and how “news” is communicated.
More than ever before, today’s communications by government – at all levels - to inform, motivate and engage audiences must be strategic and targeted with compelling messages and tactics matching particular audience segments and the communications medium they utilize.
As much as possible, instructional content of these sessions will be custom-designed to reflect the portfolio or policy concerns of the government organization represented by the participants registered for the webinar and workshop.
Participants will have opportunities through interactive instruction and practice exercises: to learn how to develop an effective, comprehensive strategic communications plan that fits their government’s needs and objectives; to improve their knowledge of successful communication strategies and tactics for reaching, motivating and engaging key stakeholders and other audiences; to acquire skills on writing clear, simple and
persuasive messages and communications material; as well as, to apply their new knowledge in group simulation or practice exercises on strategic communications planning, issues management, risk communications and crisis communications.
